ENOUGH OF ALL THIS MISTY EYED SMUSH.
It true I do Love all the men in my family
its true that I do miss the more far flung members of the clan
but really, any more of this misty eyed drivel and people will think I'm going soft in the head.
So thinks she lets tell every one what has been happening in my creative space this last week.

And then I realised that its still all about those pesky boys and how much
I love them all.
Darn it!
In the spirit of my continuing adventures in machine embroidery I made this for the Hippie as one of his birthday presents.

I was given a beautiful set of Penguin classics post cards by my best friend for Christmas.
As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to do some as embroideries.
Any way there are 100 cards in the set so it may take some time.

I've also been rummaging in the scrap box and finding little bits of loveliness to make party bags for the ginger one's little friends to take home with them on Saturday.
Its a low key affair this year just 6 friends round for popcorn, hot dogs and a film.
My plan is to keep it simple, calm and quiet.
How very badly am I going to fail?
Very I suspect!

And just so as its not all about the boy round here I have a
sneaky little ninja peek for you to take.
Hot rumour has it that those mad ninja knitters are on the move again.
They are planning something else new and spiffy.
Keep your eyes peeled you may see them lurking in the shadows.

Many many more inspiring creative spaces can be found here.
Happy sunny spring days to you all.
Love Nora xxx

  5. I used to do lots of machine embroidery.I know how compulsive it can feel. you just want to keep going and going. Maybe I should start up my old project of my Macintoch roses curtains.
